La 9na. Edición del Encuentro de Jóvenes Investigadores en el Estado de Chihuahua se lleva a cabo de manera exitosa

La UACJ efectuó el 9no. Encuentro de Jóvenes Investigadores en el Estado de
Chihuahua (EJIECH) en modalidad presencial, que se llevó a cabo los días 30 y 31
de
octubre de 2023. El programa contó con diversas actividades, como la Conferencia
Magistral “Investigación, ciencia y posgrado, ¿van de la mano?” por parte del
Dr.
Jorge Álvarez de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), el Corredor
Internacional Paso del Norte, donde participaron distintos organismos, centros y
asociaciones, quienes, a su vez, impartieron sesiones informativas cortas en los
Short Talks. Algunas actividades, como la inauguración del evento, la
conferencia
magistral y la ceremonia de premiación fueron trasmitidas en vivo a través de la
página oficial de Facebook @ejiech.uacj.
De igual manera, estudiantes de pregrado y posgrado de la UACJ, así
como de
otras instituciones de educación superior del estado, tuvieron la oportunidad de
presentar sus trabajos de investigación por medio de ponencias en el Centro
Cultural
Universitario frente a docentes evaluadores y público en general. Se expusieron
más
de 130 trabajos en las 8 diferentes áreas del conocimiento, siendo el área de
Humanidades y Ciencias de la Conducta la de mayor participación, seguida por la
de
Ingenierías y Medicina y Ciencias de la Salud. Los mejores trabajos de cada área
recibieron un premio en especie, en los que destacan tablets y relojes
inteligentes.

The 9th edition of the Young Researchers Meeting in the State of Chihuahua is successfully carried out

The UACJ held the 9th Young Researchers Meeting in the State of Chihuahua
(EJIECH), which took place on October 30th and 31st, 2023. The program included
several activities, such as the Keynote Lecture “Research, science and
postgraduate studies, do they go hand in hand?” by Dr. Jorge Alvarez from the
Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), the Paso del Norte International
Corridor where different organizations, centers and associations participated
and gave short informative sessions in the Short Talks. Some activities, such as
the opening of the event, the keynote lecture and the award ceremony were
broadcast live through the official Facebook page @ejiech.uacj.
Likewise, undergraduate, and graduate students from the UACJ, as well
as from other higher education institutions in the state, had the opportunity to
present their research works at the University Cultural Center in front of
evaluating teachers and the public. More than 130 works were exhibited in the 8
different areas of knowledge, with the Humanities and Behavioral Sciences being
the area with the highest participation, followed by Engineering and Medicine
and Health Sciences. The best works in each area received a prize in kind,
including tablets and smart watches.
More than 90 professors from the UACJ acted as reviewers of the
different works, while more than 70 evaluators of the presentations defined the
winners of each area and modality.
