The Outreach and Developmental area has, as main objective, the promotion, implementation and supporting of  the links between the University and the public, private and social sectors of our region.  It impulses and promotes the strength of its knowledge in applied-research projects, as well as the infrastructure of its laboratories and classrooms towards the productive sectors, to develop joined projects of mutual benefits.   Being aware of the constant growth and  the arising of different productive segments in the region, the offer of permanent learning spreads to tie the demands that the different sectors in our society  have as of highly qualified individuals that emerge from our geographic position and globalization.

The Outreach and Developmental Area fulfills its commitments with the support of the following areas:
